ROOT CANALS

A root canal is a procedure performed when the bacteria that started the cavity has invaded the nerve space of the tooth, causing the tooth to become infected. This can show up as a painful swelling, pain in the tooth with no swelling, and sometimes there will be no pain at all.

This procedure removes the infection from the inside of the tooth. We then sesal the roots, build the tooth back up and then in most cases cover it with a crown to further seal and protect the tooth.
